Scottish Highland Cattle in the Blue Ridge Mountains
New Arrivals
Farm Visits
Meet our registered Scottish Highland cattle on a guided tour of our working farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We'll take you by side-by-side to wherever the herd is grazing that day. Visits are by reservation only and are for guests 10 and older.
Photo Sessions & Christmas Photos
Book a professional photo session with our Highland cattle and the mountains as your backdrop, or reserve a Christmas photo session with a Highland calf. Our calves are only borrowed from the pasture for a short time and go right back to their mothers after your session. Christmas spots fill up quickly each season.
Painting Classes
Spend an afternoon painting on the farm with the Highlands as your inspiration. No experience is needed. Just come ready to have fun and get a little paint on your hands.
Looking for Highland Cattle?
Thinking about buying Scottish Highland cattle? Learn what to know before you bring Highlands home, from climate and pasture to mini Highlands and bottle babies, and tell me about your farm so I can help point you in the right direction.
You can also browse Highland cattle and heritage livestock from breeders across the country on HoofnHorn, the livestock marketplace I co-founded.
