Ways to Meet Our Highlands

Meeting a fluffy Highland calf on a farm visit in North Carolina

On a guided farm visit we take you out by side-by-side to wherever the herd is grazing that day so you can meet the Highlands up close. If you want pictures, you can book a photo session with the cattle and the mountains as your backdrop, or reserve a Christmas photo session with a Highland calf. Christmas spots fill up quickly every season. We also have painting classes where you spend an afternoon painting on the farm, and you don't need any experience to come.

Visits are by reservation only and are for guests 10 and older. When you request a time, it's a request until we confirm it with you, because this is a working farm and plans can change with the weather and the animals. You can request a farm visit here.
