These are registered Scottish Highland bulls we have used and proven in the Happy Hens & Highlands breeding program. Each one earned his place here by what he puts on the ground: sound structure, good growth, moderate birth weights and the calm Highland dispositions we breed for. If you want to add dependable Highland genetics to your herd without hauling a bull home, frozen genetics are the way to do it.

HHH Gold Kanyon #62385

2022 AHCA Roll of Excellence Bull of the Year. Kanyon is a bull for balancing your breeding program. Few sires can claim so many championships in a season against such stiff competition, and fewer still have such a well rounded set of production traits. One key to his success is his near perfect structure. He and his calves have exceptional body proportions with smooth, seamless conformation and movement.

He checks the beef performance boxes too, with early growth and easy fleshing, without being extreme for birth weight or frame score. Add lovely dispositions, quality udders and true Highland beauty in an outcross lineage, and you have a bull for people who like balanced cattle that take care of themselves.

Swalanders Butch (D) #56665

Born 08/07/2016. Butch is a powerful, correct, athletic bull we hand selected as a yearling from the Pacific Northwest. He consistently sires calves with excellent structure, sound feet, strong hindquarters and exceptional dispositions, in a wide range of colors including dun, brindle, silver, frosted and the traditional Highland colors.

His calves have averaged around 65 pounds at birth with rapid early growth, and we have used him on heifers with no calving issues. His sons have earned Best Pair of Bulls at multiple major shows, and one of them is HHH Gold Kanyon.

Trafalgar Dominik (ET, D) #55085

Born 07/10/2015. Dominik is a beautiful, correct and athletic red bull from New England, and one of the most influential sires we have ever used. He produces moderate birth weight calves, typically 60 to 70 pounds, with rapid growth, excellent muscle, structural correctness and outstanding dispositions.

His offspring have earned numerous Grand and Reserve Champion titles across the country, and he has sired multiple Get of Sire winners. Of all the bulls we have used, Dominik has given us some of our strongest and most consistent calf crops.

Sunset Lock Stock and Barrel #74876

Born 04/15/2023. Lock Stock and Barrel is a red bull recently imported into the United States from Canada and now AHCA registered. He combines proven show-ring quality with sought-after genetics: Grand Champion Highland Bull at Expo Boeuf, Quebec, in 2024 and 2025; Grand Champion Highland Bull at Lombardy, Ontario, in 2025; and Reserve Senior Bull Champion at MAHA, Pennsylvania, in 2025.

He is sired by the influential Gusgurlach of Windrush, known for stamping his calves with exceptional Highland character and eye appeal along with good feet, structural correctness, volume and muscle. His dam is Sunset Wildfire's Finesse. His first public semen offering sold at the 2026 Southeast Highland Sale.

Conventional or Heifer Sorted?

Conventional straws are standard, unsorted semen, so you can get either a heifer or a bull calf.

Heifer sorted straws are sorted to strongly favor heifer calves. They are a good choice when you are building your cow herd and want to keep replacement females out of a proven sire.

• All straws are stored at MultiGen Reproductive Solutions, 1540 Newlands Lane, Stanford, KY 40484, phone 606-365-2654.
• MultiGen coordinates shipping or transfer of your straws. You pay MultiGen directly for shipping.
• Shipping and all storage, handling and transfer fees are the buyer's responsibility.
• All purchased semen must be shipped or transferred into your possession within 60 days of purchase.
