Neptune is up for auction on HoofnHorn. No reserve, minimum bid $6,500. All bidding happens on his HoofnHorn listing.
Mystic River Neptune is a handsome young silver bull with an impressive pedigree, excellent disposition, and a promising start as a breeding bull. Calm and friendly to work around, Neptune already has five calves on the ground, all of which have been dun or silver. He has been color tested and confirmed as silver.
Neptune is sired by LEA Lars (PV,D), a bull selected at a young age for herd sire potential who developed exceptionally well on grass. Lars has also demonstrated favorable calving performance, producing moderate birth weights even from first-calf heifers.
His dam, Belhaven Eilidh, is a beautiful silver cow admired for her femininity, structure, and maternal qualities, with respected LEA White Farms and Ridge Top genetics.
Neptune's pedigree includes notable names such as LEA Heremon, LEA Forbes, LEA Denovan Adam, Lasgaire of Ridge Top, and Ridge Top Starlight's Scott, bringing together established genetics on both sides.
At just over two years old, Neptune is already producing calves while maintaining the calm, easygoing temperament valued in a herd sire. His silver color, pedigree, disposition, and first calf crop make him an attractive prospect for a breeding program seeking a young bull with proven fertility and promising genetics.
